Admin and Customer Service Tutor/Assessor NEW

We’re supporting a respected training provider that is looking for an experienced and engaging Tutor Assessor to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across Business Administration and Customer Service programmes. This role suits someone who enjoys supporting learners, building strong employer relationships and delivering structured, inspiring sessions both face‑to‑face and online.

The Role

You’ll guide learners through their qualifications, ensuring they receive a supportive, motivating and high‑quality learning experience. You’ll plan and deliver sessions, review progress, set clear targets and maintain accurate records to meet awarding‑body and funding requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering teaching, learning and assessment to individuals and groups
• Creating and updating learning materials and resources
• Ensuring programmes meet quality, compliance and funding standards
• Building strong relationships with learners, employers and stakeholders
• Supporting recruitment onto programmes and maintaining a full caseload
• Reviewing learner progress, attendance and achievement
• Engaging employers in reviews and programme updates
• Supporting internal and external moderation, audit and inspection activity
• Maintaining accurate learner records and producing timely reports
• Using IT confidently, including Microsoft Office
• Contributing to continuous improvement and quality processes

What We’re Looking For

• Occupational competence in Business Administration and/or Customer Service
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards DTLLS/CertEd/Level 5 Diploma)
• Assessor qualification (or willingness to achieve)
• Strong understanding of organisational processes, stakeholder relationships and business principles
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach, support and motivate learners
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable delivering learning both in person and online
