Are you an experienced electrical professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Electrical Tutor to join a growing training team, helping to develop the next generation of electricians and electrical engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who enjoys sharing their knowledge, supporting learners and making a real impact on future careers. Previous teaching experience is beneficial but not essential, as support and training can be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As an Electrical Tutor, you will deliver engaging training and assessment programmes to apprentices and learners, helping them develop both their technical knowledge and practical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering electrical training to apprentices and adult learners
• Supporting learners to achieve qualifications and apprenticeship standards
• Planning and delivering classroom and workshop-based sessions
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining accurate learner records and documentation
• Supporting learners with preparation for assessments and end-point assessments
• Ensuring training is delivered in line with awarding body and industry requirements
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Industry experience within the electrical sector
• Relevant electrical qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for developing and supporting learners
• Organised and able to manage workload effectively
• Teaching, assessing or IQA qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
• Knowledge of apprenticeships and vocational training is desirable
