We’re recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated UK Traffic Planner to join a busy and fast‑paced UK Planning Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long‑term career in transport and logistics, with full training and development provided.
The Role
As part of the UK Planning Team, you’ll support the day‑to‑day planning of transport operations, making sure customer collections and deliveries run smoothly, safely and on time. You’ll work closely with drivers, subcontractors, customers and internal teams, gaining exposure to all areas of transport planning.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily planning and coordination of UK transport operations
Allocate work to approved subcontractors and monitor vehicle movements
Liaise with drivers, subcontractors, customers and internal departments
Monitor collections and deliveries, resolving issues and communicating delays
Support route planning and vehicle utilisation
Maintain accurate records within the Transport Management System
Follow customer instructions and operating procedures
Provide excellent customer service through clear communication
Assist with transport administration and operational reporting
Work collaboratively with the wider planning team
Contribute to continuous improvement within the department
