Export Planner

We are looking for an experienced logistics candidate to join our client nr Immingham. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys problem‑solving, planning and working collaboratively across multiple departments. This role requires being on an on-call rota (one week in 5).

The Role

• You’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day export operations
• Planning loads from booking through to delivery
• Liaising with transport planners, warehouse teams and shipping lines
• Working closely with colleagues across the UK and abroad
• Completing export customs clearances using Descartes/Destin8
• Producing export transit documentation
• Participating in an on‑call rota (weekday evenings and occasional weekends)

What We’re Looking For

• Previous logistics experience
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
• Able to prioritise, plan and make decisions in a time‑critical environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• IT literate and eager to learn additional roles within the department
