Apprenticeship Engagement Co‑ordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing training organisation as an Apprenticeship Engagement Co‑ordinator, playing a key role in connecting employers with motivated learners and supporting the development of apprenticeship opportunities across the region.

In this varied and people‑focused role, you’ll build strong relationships with employers, promote apprenticeship and pre‑apprenticeship programmes, and match suitable applicants to vacancies. You’ll also support learners with initial assessments, provide information and guidance, and ensure all compliance, funding and onboarding requirements are met. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of employer engagement, recruitment, outreach and learner support.

What you’ll be doing

• Engaging with employers to develop apprenticeship vacancies and work experience opportunities
• Recruiting and matching learners to apprenticeship and pre‑apprenticeship programmes
• Supporting employers with advertising roles and navigating the Apprenticeship Service
• Completing initial assessments and providing information, advice and guidance to applicants
• Maintaining accurate learner and employer records and producing reports
• Attending events to promote programmes and support recruitment
• Ensuring all placements meet health & safety, safeguarding and funding requirements
• Working with external partners to support learner progression

What we’re looking for

• Experience in sales, employer engagement or a similar customer‑facing role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships quickly
• Confident working to targets and managing a busy workload
• Level 4 IAG qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
