Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established, family-run luxury retail business. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a hands-on finance environment, and can bring strong technical ability alongside a calm, collaborative approach. Experience using NetSuite system is beneficial.

You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and analysis, and ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L
• Support budget preparation, monitoring variances and highlighting issues to management

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits

• Respond to finance queries

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience using NetSuite within a finance environment would be beneficial
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience within retail or product-based environments is beneficial but not essential
