Management Accountant Full Time

We’re working with a busy and growing transport company near Immingham that’s looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys getting stuck into the detail behind the scenes.

You’ll be supporting the finance function with everything from monthly reporting and budgeting to cost analysis and forecasting—helping the business stay on track and make smart decisions. If you’ve got solid experience in management accounts and want to be part of a down-to-earth, hard-working team, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of 3
• Bank reconciliations
• Supporting auditors
• Accrual and pre-payments
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing financial forecasts
• Report on company assets and liabilities
• Preparing accounts for month-end
• Provide financial analysis for strategic decision-making and achieving company goals

• Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and areas of concern
• Prepare timely and insightful financial reports for senior management
• Develop and manage financial systems and policies.

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
• Able to stay organised and manage your own workload
• A team player who’s happy to get stuck in and support others when needed
