We’re supporting a growing organisation in a Risk and Compliance Manager role to oversee H&S, compliance and training requirements across two operational sites. The Role
As the key point of contact for all health, safety and compliance matters, you’ll ensure both sites remain fully compliant with legislation, internal policies and statutory requirements. You’ll maintain documentation, lead audits, manage training compliance and support managers in embedding safe working practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and improving H&S systems across both sites
Conducting inspections, audits and workplace assessments
Updating risk assessments, SSOWs and method statements
Producing RAMS documentation
Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
Managing compliance registers, permits, licences and statutory records
Coordinating external audits and inspections
Maintaining a full training matrix and scheduling refresher training
Delivering inductions for staff, contractors and visitors
Managing document control and preparing compliance reports
Providing visible support across both sites and promoting a positive safety culture
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, detail‑driven professional with experience in Health & Safety, compliance or HSE roles. You’ll be comfortable managing documentation, influencing stakeholders and working independently across multiple locations.
Key skills and attributes:
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation
Experience managing compliance documentation and training records
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Ability to prioritise across two sites
Competent with Microsoft Office and document management systems
Full UK driving licence
Proactive, approachable and committed to continuous improvement
