We’re working with a respected national training provider who’s on the lookout for a passionate Functional Skills Maths Tutor. If you’ve got a minimum Level 3 qualification in Maths and enjoy helping learners build confidence in numeracy—whether that’s face-to-face in the classroom or through remote sessions—this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons both in person and online
Lead informative induction sessions to help learners feel confident and prepared for their course
Track learner progress and offer extra support when needed to help them stay on track
Adapt teaching materials to suit different learning needs, including those with additional challenges
Help shape and improve the curriculum to keep content fresh and relevant
Assess learners’ starting points and build tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with clear, achievable goals
Give timely, constructive feedback on assessments to support learner growth
Requirements:
Teaching qualifications at or above level 3 (e.g. PGCE, PTTLS equivalent etc.)
Minimum level 3 Maths qualification
Happy to deliver both face-to-face and remote lessons
