What you’ll be doing
Teaching and supporting learners across a variety of engineering subjects, including design, mathematics, mechanical and electrical principles, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, automation, robotics, PLCs, production engineering, and quality and process improvement.
Delivering engaging classroom and workshop-based training to apprentices and adult learners
Teaching a range of engineering subjects across different disciplines
Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential
Using your industry experience to bring technical concepts to life
Monitoring learner progress and providing guidance, coaching and support
Ensuring training is delivered safely and in line with awarding body requirements and industry standard
What we’re looking for
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
Strong industry experience within an engineering environment
Knowledge of one or more of the subject areas listed above
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Confident IT skills and the ability to produce training materials
A genuine interest in supporting and developing others
Desirable
Teaching, training or assessing experience
Relevant teaching or assessor qualifications
Experience working with apprentices or early-career engineers
