Accounts Senior

We’re supporting a well‑established accountancy practice in Hull that is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified professional or someone qualified by experience who enjoys a varied role combining accounts preparation, audit work, client management and supporting junior team members.

The Role

You’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts, undertaking audit assignments, providing business advice and helping develop junior colleagues. The position offers excellent exposure across practice work and genuine opportunities for career progression.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with strong client‑relationship skills
• Ability to review and support junior team members
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills
• Good IT skills and experience using accounting software
