A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established, family-run luxury retail business. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a hands-on finance environment, and can bring strong technical ability alongside a calm, collaborative approach. Experience using NetSuite system is beneficial.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and analysis, and ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations
Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L
Support budget preparation, monitoring variances and highlighting issues to management
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
Respond to finance queries
Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience using NetSuite within a finance environment would be beneficial
ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Experience within retail or product-based environments is beneficial but not essential
