Data/AI Tutor

We’re working with a leading training provider who is expanding its delivery team and looking for an enthusiastic Programme Tutor Assessor to deliver Business Administration and Data/AI learning programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves supporting learners, enjoys a varied role and wants to be part of an organisation that genuinely invests in quality and learner success.

This role requires flexibility — you’ll work across Hull, Grimsby and from home depending on programme requirements, so a driving licence is essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering inspiring teaching, learning and assessment to young people and adults
• Working with learners 1:1 and in groups across classroom, workplace and online settings
• Creating and updating engaging learning materials and resources
• Ensuring programmes meet awarding body and funding requirements
• Supporting learners to build skills, confidence and progress into employment or further training
• Reviewing learner progress, setting targets and providing high‑quality IAG
• Monitoring attendance, achievement and learner satisfaction
• Building strong relationships with employers and involving them in learner reviews
• Supporting recruitment onto programmes and maintaining a healthy caseload
• Preparing for audits, moderation, verification and Ofsted requirements
• Maintaining accurate learner records and producing timely reports
• Actively contributing to quality improvement processes

What we’re looking for

• Occupational competence in Business Administration, Data or a related field
• Experience delivering training, employability or skills‑based programmes
• Strong understanding of administration principles, stakeholder management and information systems
• Confident using multiple IT systems, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work proactively
• Teaching/assessor qualifications (DTLLS/CertEd/Level 5 Diploma / A1/CAVA) — or willingness to work towards them
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites
