Credit Controller

We’re working with a well-known name in the transport and logistics world, and they’re on the lookout for a strong Credit Controller to join their busy finance team. If you’re confident chasing debt, building solid relationships, and keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

• Chasing outstanding payments and keeping on top of aged debt
• Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and encourage timely payments
• Working closely with the wider finance team to keep everything running smoothly
• Keeping accurate records and updating systems with payment activity
• Spotting potential issues early and flagging them to the right people
• Helping improve internal processes to make credit control more efficient
• Supporting month-end reporting and providing updates on debt status

Requirements:

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
• Confident in chasing payments and managing aged debt
• Able to stay organised and manage your own workload
• A team player who’s happy to get stuck in and support others when needed
