As an Employer Engagement Manager, you’ll be the person who brings employers and learners together — matching vacancies with job-ready candidates and championing fully‑funded training programmes to help businesses grow.
At its heart, this is a role about impact: supporting employers, filling skills gaps and helping people move into meaningful work through high-quality training.
Duties
You’ll spend your time building strong employer partnerships, spotting opportunities, generating leads and making sure their training offer genuinely meets workforce needs across sectors like Digital, Logistics, Education, IT, Cyber and Health & Social Care
One day you’re meeting employers, the next you’re at a careers fair, the next you’re helping a business upskill its team through funded training.
Engage with new employers in regards to their recruitment needs by placing suitable learners within vacancies, this could be by cold-calling, recruitment fairs, linkedin and site visits
Working with learners who have completed an online bootcamp course
Associate all learners to relevant vacancies, ensuring the needs of learners and employers are met
Develop effective working relationships with educational organisations, ensuring opportunities for learners are maximised
Liaise with external partner organisations to support programme delivery and learner engagement, achievement and progression
Ensure that all necessary documents are up to date
Requirements:
Experience working within the education sector or support industry would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of the education and training sector (essential)
Experience of effective engagement with learners is advantageous, but not essential
Experience of successfully achieving targets, together with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
