We’re delighted to be supporting a respected, family-run company who are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role is key to delivering accurate tenders for large-scale projects, so previous experience within the construction industry is essential.
Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in managing the tendering process from start to finish. You’ll take responsibility for tenders, carefully reviewing documentation and coordinating enquiries with subcontractors and suppliers. Using your expertise, you’ll prepare accurate bills of quantities and contribute to budgets, estimates, and cost plans, while keeping a close eye on risk and value to support commercial decisions. You’ll also be involved in presenting tender outcomes internally and externally, ensuring clarity and confidence in every stage of the process.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Have strong knowledge of current CDM 2015 Health and Safety requirements
Comfortable procuring small and large subcontract packages
If you hold an HNC, Diploma, or Degree in construction, this would be beneficial
