We’re working with a national training provider to recruit a SEN Tutor in Truro on a hybrid basis. You’ll be delivering meaningful, skills-based courses, including Teaching Assistant, Autism Awareness, and Early Years Practitioner—helping learners build confidence and take the next step in their careers. If you have experience delivering these subjects, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons both in person and online
Lead informative induction sessions to help learners feel confident and prepared for their course
Track learner progress and offer extra support when needed to help them stay on track
Adapt teaching materials to suit different learning needs, including those with additional challenges
Help shape and improve the curriculum to keep content fresh and relevant
Assess learners’ starting points and build tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with clear, achievable goals
Give timely, constructive feedback on assessments to support learner growth
Requirements:
You will have a teaching qualifications or be willing to work towards one
Comfortable delivering remote and face-to-face lessons
Demonstrated success in delivering adult learning programmes across various subject areas
Skilled in facilitating engaging and effective sessions through online platforms and virtual classrooms
