We are working with a leading name in freight forwarding to recruit an Import Coordinator nr Immingham.
You’ll be planning and arranging full load import deliveries, working closely with customs teams, handling customer service and admin tasks, taking import bookings and logging them in the internal system, liaising with customers, and supporting the team with general admin functions.
Duties:
Importing customs clearances
Liaising with customers and building strong relationships
Create bookings on the internal system
Plan and arrange import deliveries
Working alongside and coordinating with the customs teams
Any related administration tasks
Requirements:
You will be confident and approachable, with great communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
You’ll bring strong organisational skills and attention to detail, along with a customer-focused mindset and the determination to deliver excellent service
Good decision-making is key, as you’ll need to evaluate, prioritise, and plan while adapting to changing workloads
A logical and methodical approach, combined with solid problem-solving abilities, will help you thrive in this time-critical environment
You should be comfortable working on your own initiative but equally happy being part of a team
Being IT literate and quick to pick up new systems will also be a big advantage
