We are working with a local, public sector company to recruit an Emergency Out of Hours Call Handler. This is a temporary, ongoing position working the following hours:
Monday to Thursday: 5:00pm – Midnight
Friday: 4:30pm – Midnight
Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm and 5:00pm – Midnight
Sunday: 8:00am – 5:00pm and 5:00pm – Midnight
The Main Purpose of the Emergency Out of Hours Call Handler is:
The purpose of this role is to answer all calls using a strength-based approach and help provide high-quality, clear, and concise information. You will deal with sensitive information and at times, anxious callers. You will be confident in handling difficult conversations with professionals and the public.
